LU Humanities Lab Archive

RWAAI
RWAAI is committed to the preservation and ongoing maintenance of both legacy and recent research materials documenting the languages and cultures of Austroasiatic communities of Mainland Southeast Asia and India. It facilitates the presentation of intangible heritage collections in a unique, accessible location for fellow researchers, Austroasiatic communities, and the general public. The various corpora include a range of materials, among them audio and visual recordings, transcriptions and annotations, dictionaries and wordlists, photos, drawings, and maps. RWAAI also provides a dynamic, digital workspace for contributors where they can store, curate and reuse their collections. Many of our corpora are undergoing continued construction, and are frequently updated. RWAAI is funded by a Riksbankens Jubileumsfond Infrastructure Grant, and housed on servers hosted by the Humanities Lab, Lund University. This facility is a part of the pan-European Clarin Initiative, which seeks to establish integrated and interoperable infrastructure for languages and language technology. The Language Archive, MPI, Nijmegen provide software and technical expertise.
